CACI Awarded Blanket Purchase Agreement to Provide Information Technology Services to Secretary of Defense

Estimated $20 Million Contract Open to Multiple Secretary of Defense Offices Subject to BPA

Arlington, Va., January 10, 2002 — CACI International Inc (NASDAQ:CACI) announced today that it has been awarded a five-year, estimated $20 million blanket purchase agreement for information technology support services with the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD). Under the Information Technology Support Services Contract (ITSSC), awarded for one base year and four option years, CACI will provide a range of technical support to multiple OSD offices and agencies subject to the BPA, in such areas as software development, financial management systems, secure communications, and e-Commerce services. The award positions CACI to grow its existing business with OSD and continue its expansion of systems integration and managed network services support for the Department of Defense.

The mission of OSD is to develop and plan policy, manage resources, and evaluate fiscal and other programs in support of Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld and the implementation of national security objectives. CACI has supported OSD through a number of contracts since 1989.

CACI's current OSD activities include software development for the OSD Planning, Programming, and Budgeting System (PPBS). PPBS, the financial management process through which DoD Services and agencies request program funds, is a central component in tracking and managing the complex, $300-billion DoD budget. CACI's PPBS experience also includes support at the major military command level, for example building and maintaining a PPBS subsystem called RM-Online for the Army Materiel Command. The company is leveraging this experience, and applying its expertise in software development and financial management systems, to deliver enhancements to PPBS that promote accuracy, security, and ease of use.

CACI also supports OSD's Defense Travel System (DTS). For DTS, CACI provides program management assistance in support of an online system being developed to automate travel functions for the entire Defense Department. On this project, OSD is making use of CACI capabilities in secure communications and e-Commerce to better test and evaluate the new system.

According to Ken Johnson, CACI's President of U.S. Operations: "CACI is proud to provide continuity of service in essential functional areas for the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and offer innovative new support for other OSD offices and agencies. Our proven expertise will help OSD meet mission goals effectively and on time, with high-quality technical support for their financial management systems, secure communications, e-Commerce, and other technology requirements."

Dr. J.P. (Jack) London, CACI Chairman and CEO, is enthusiastic about the ITSSC award: "The ITSSC contract presents CACI with a great opportunity to offer our capabilities to the highest levels of the Department of Defense. In the coming months, we foresee an expansion in the defense arena in response to external threats to our national security. CACI stands ready to meet the needs of the Office of the Secretary of Defense as it continues its vital role in guiding defense policy and operations."
