CACI Awarded $9 Million Contract to Support Air Force Air Combat Command

Arlington, Va., December 11, 2001 — CACI International Inc (NASDAQ:CACI) announced today that it has been awarded a $9 million contract to provide mission support for the Air Force Air Combat Command's Director of Operations, Battle Management Operations Division, at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia. CACI's role will center upon supporting the Division's command and control aircraft and ground systems. The new contract, awarded through the General Services Administration Millennia Lite Functional Area 3 contract, includes one base year and eight option years. The award underscores CACI's continuing growth as a provider of engineering and intelligence services to the Department of Defense.

The Air Combat Command's Battle Management Operations Division is responsible for the Air Force's fleet of command and control aircraft, which includes such aircraft as the Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) planes. These aircraft provide critical all-weather surveillance and communications data for U.S. and NATO air defense forces around the world and play an essential role in the nation's war on terrorism.

CACI has supported the Air Combat Command under a number of task orders, but this is the first prime contract with this client. CACI's team will provide expertise to organize and equip command and control systems, as well as to develop training plans in the use of these systems for both flight and ground crews. The company also will support modernization initiatives that call for migration to newer aircraft, helping Air Force commanders manage and analyze procurement options.

"CACI's management and technical support will help the Battle Management Operations Division of the Air Combat Command meet critical mission goals," said Ken Johnson, CACI's President of U.S. Operations, "We've amassed considerable expertise in supporting the Air Combat Command, which enables us to make immediate contributions in support of their initiatives."

CACI Chairman and CEO, Dr. J.P. (Jack) London, said "During these difficult times, we place high value on the opportunity to support the complex and vital mission of the Air Force's Air Combat Command. CACI's expertise will help our Air Force client deliver practical, effective command and control solutions for such missions as Operation Enduring Freedom, our nation's military campaign against terrorism."
