- Transcript: U.S. Statement on Bishkek Conference on Terrorism 20 Dec. 2001-- The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) must act to transform into "quantifiable actions" the proposals agreed to at the recently-concluded Bishkek conference on combating international terrorism, U.S. diplomat Stephan M. Minikes told the OSCE Permanent Council in Vienna December 20.
- Text: Report Outlines Coalition Successes In Destroying Al-Qaeda 20 Dec. 2001-- In a report on the first 100 days of the war on terrorism, President Bush says the international anti-terrorism coalition "began to destroy al-Qaeda's grip on Afghanistan," disrupted its finances, and destroyed 11 training camps and 39 Taliban militia command-and-control sites.

- ATK Awarded Contract to Develop Rocket Motors for Mongoose Countermine System ATK 20 Dec 2001 -- ATK (Alliant Techsystems) (NYSE: ATK) has been awarded a contract from BAE SYSTEMS, Austin, Texas, to develop and demonstrate solid-propellant insensitive munitions (IM) rocket motors for the U.S. Army's Mongoose countermine system program. BAE SYSTEMS is the prime contractor for the program's system development and demonstration phase.
- SMArt® 155 Munition Repeats 100-Percent Reliability in Firing Tests by ATK Partner GIWS ATK 20 Dec 2001 -- ATK (Alliant Techsystems)(NYSE: ATK) said GIWS, Nuremberg, Germany, ATK's industry partner on the SMArt® 155 sensor-fuzed munition system program, again achieved 100-percent reliability in a series of gun-fired tests conducted recently by the German government -- repeating the outstanding results of similar tests held in April, September, and November of this year.
