VOICED AT:

INTRO: President Bush is urging Iraqi Leader Saddam Hussein to let U-N weapons inspectors back into his country. V-O-A's Paula Wolfson reports, Mr. Bush says the inspectors need to find out if Iraq has weapons of mass destruction.

TEXT: President Bush says Saddam Hussein must prove to the world that he is not developing biological, chemical or nuclear weapons.

///BUSH ACT///

He needs to let inspectors back into his country to show us he is not developing weapons of mass destruction.

////END ACT///

Iraq has long been on a U-S state department list of nations that support terrorism. President Bush makes clear that is one big reason why the United States is keeping a close watch on Iraq and other countries believed to be seeking weapons of mass destruction.

///BUSH ACT///

If they develop weapons of mass destruction that will be used to terrorize nations, they will be held accountable.

///END ACT///

Iraq expelled U-N weapons inspectors in late 1998. When asked by reporters what might happen if Saddam Hussein continues to refuse re-entry, Mr. Bush replied, "He'll find out." (signed)
