BAE SYSTEMS awarded ammunition storage, handling and management services contract

BAE Systems Technical Services, part of BAE Systems North America, has been awarded a $5 million contract by the Regional Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. This contract contains options, which, if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value to $25 million. Under the contract, BAE Systems will provide ammunition storage, handling, and management services for the Naval Magazine at Pearl Harbor. Support will include supply and logistics management for all conventional U.S. Naval ordnance arriving and departing from Pearl Harbor. Ordnance and ammunition management for the U.S. Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard will also be provided.

Work is expected to be completed by September 2002 and will be performed by personnel of the BAE Systems Technical Services, Pearl Harbor office. BAE Systems Technical Services is an operating element of BAE Systems Technologies Services Sector.
