• Text: APEC Leaders Issue "Unequivocal" Condemnation of Terrorism 21 Oct. 2001-- Leaders unequivocally condemn in the strongest terms the terrorist attacks in the United States on September 11, 2001, and express their deepest sympathy and condolences to the victims of a large number of nationalities and their families and to the people and Government of the United States of America.
• Fact Sheet: White House Welcomes APEC Statement on Terrorism 21 Oct. 2001-- President Bush has called for all states to join a sustained worldwide coalition to defeat global terrorism. APEC Leaders responded with a statement that unequivocally condemns in the strongest terms the terrorist attacks in the United States.
• Transcript: Bush Tells Pacific Leaders War on Terror Is Long-Term 21 Oct. 2001-- President Bush is telling Pacific Rim leaders that the war on terrorism is a long-term effort, and is pledging to share relevant intelligence with allies who join the anti-terror coalition, a senior Bush Administration official told reporters October 20.
