BAE SYSTEMS awarded $64.1 million contract for communications and electronics life cycle support

BAE Systems Applied Technologies, part of BAE Systems North America, has been awarded a contract with a ceiling value of $64.1 million by the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Patuxent River in St. Inigoes, MD. Under this Communications and Electronics (C-E) Life Cycle Support (C-E LCS II) Contract, BAE Systems will provide engineering and technical support services and supplies for the maintenance, logistics and LCS of Navy, Army, Air Force, Joint Services, and other Government Agency C-E platforms, equipment/systems and subsystems.

In support of this effort, BAE Systems will provide logistics, in-service support, engineering, training, configuration management, and hardware acquisition and technical management support from seven different facilities and Field Technical Units located in the continental United States and overseas. Support will include personnel, services, facilities, materials, and data to support NAWCAD initiatives.

Work is expected to be completed by May 2006 and will be performed by personnel of BAE Systems Applied Technologies California, MD, office and other team members which include Advanced Systems Technology, C-CUBED Corporation, Special Communications and Windermere Information Technology Systems.
