- Agusta and GE-FiatAvio Team Sign T700 Engine Contract For Italian NH 90 Program GE Aviation 13 Jun 2001 -- FiatAvio, the aerospace company of the Fiat Group, and Agusta, an AgustaWestland company, have signed a contract for production and logistics support of the T700/T6E1 engine for the Italian military multi-role NH 90 helicopters.
- Lockheed Martin Signs Contract With Mhi Japan For Integration Of Japan's New ASROC Missile Into The Mk41 Vertical Launching System Lockheed Martin 13 Jun 2001 -- Lockheed Martin Naval Electronics and Surveillance Systems (NE&SS) - Marine Systems announced today that it has signed a direct commercial sale contract with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. (MHI) for technical assistance in integrating Japan's New anti-submarine rocket (ASROC) missile into the MK 41 Vertical Launching System (VLS).
- Lockheed Martin Delivers its 100th Undersea Warfare System to U.S. Navy Lockheed Martin 13 Jun 2001 -- Lockheed Martin today announced that it has delivered its 100th AN/SQQ-89 undersea warfare system to the U.S. Navy. The system will be installed aboard the Aegis guided missile destroyer USS Mason (DDG 87). Lockheed Martin Naval Electronics and Surveillance Systems (NE&SS)-Undersea Systems manages the AN/SQQ-89 contracts at its Syracuse facility where over 350 employees work on the program.
