- Boeing Selected to Modernize C-130 Boeing 04 Jun 2001 -- The Boeing Company has been selected to perform the C-130 Avionics Modernization Program, which has a total potential value of approximately $4 billion. The company was notified today of its selection by the U.S. Air Force Aeronautical Systems Center at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Final contracts will be signed pending program approval by the Defense Department's Defense Acquisition Board.
- Lockheed Martin Selects Camden, Arkansas, Operation as Final Assembly Site For PAC-3 Missile System Lockheed Martin 04 Jun 2001 -- Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, prime contractor on the Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) Missile segment upgrade to the Patriot Air Defense System, has selected its production facility in Camden, Ark., as the final assembly site for the PAC-3 Missile.
