
General Dynamics Receives $5 Million Order for HYDRA-70 Rockets
BURLINGTON, Vt. – General Dynamics Armament Systems has received an order from the U.S. Army Operations Support Command valued at $5.07 million. This order is for the production of HYDRA-70 rockets and motors for the U.S. Army, Navy and foreign militaries. This order is part of a five-year contract that General Dynamics Armament Systems was awarded in June 1999.
Total contract value to date stands at $396.8 million against a maximum potential value of $1.2 billion over the five-year contract period. Contract deliveries against the most recent order runs from June 2002 through June 2003.
General Dynamics Armament Systems is a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), which is headquartered in Falls Church, Virginia.
