BAE SYSTEMS to support exercise Tandem Thrust

BAE Systems has been reselected to provide logistic support to Exercise Tandem Thrust - a joint exercise between the United States Marine Corps and the Australian Defence Force - to be held in North Queensland.
"The truest test of customer satisfaction is repeat business," said Mike Brownhill, operations director of Customer Solutions & Support, BAE Systems. "We are pleased to be supporting the recurring Exercise Tandem Thrust once again."
BAE Systems has developed a strong reputation for providing professional logistic support through its previous logistic support contracts with the Singaporean armed forces exercises and other Australian Defence Force exercises.
For Exercise Tandem Thrust BAE Systems will provide logistic support at RAAF Base Townsville, for the exercise period which runs from April through June 2001.
In particular, BAE Systems intends to utilise local manpower and subcontractors to fulfil the contract providing employment opportunities for the Townsville workforce.
