- ATK Awarded $77 Million Contract for Tank Ammunition Training Rounds ATK 01 Mar 2001 -- ATK (NYSE: ATK) (Alliant Techsystems) said it has been awarded a contract valued at $77 million from the U.S. Army Operations Support Command, Rock Island, Ill., for 120mm training ammunition to be used by the Army's M1A1/A2 Abrams main battle tank.
- Northrop Grumman, BAE Systems Team Wins Army Vehicle Intercom System Contract Northrop Grumman 01 Mar 2001 -- A team composed of Northrop Grumman Corporation's (NYSE:NOC) Electronic Sensors and Systems Sector (ES3) and BAE SYSTEMS has been awarded a $4.5 million contract from the U.S. Army's Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM) to outfit the Army's new Brigade Combat Team with a digital vehicle intercom system (VIS).
