BAE SYSTEMS Awarded Major U.S. Navy Contract

BAE Systems has won a $63.7 million five-year contract from the United States Navy to provide quality high-tech engineering services in support of technical programmes at the Naval Surface Warfare Center.
BAE Systems Applied Technologies, part of BAE Systems North America, will provide technical and engineering services at the Center's Dahlgren division in Virginia to support a wide array of U.S. Navy and Marine Corps programmes, including missiles, launchers, guns, munitions, and test and evaluation programmes.
Work will focus particularly on programme management, systems engineering, configuration/data management, technical documentation, engineering and information environments, specialty engineering, integrated logistics support, quality assurance, and test and evaluation.

"We look forward to continuing our solid relationship with NSWC and to providing quality engineering services during the life of this important contract."
