- BAE SYSTEMS Launches Export Vessel on the Clyde BAE Systems 12 Jan 2001 -- The first of three offshore patrol vessels (OPVs) being built for the Royal Brunei armed forces will be launched at the BAE Systems shipyard at Scotstoun on the Clyde tomorrow. BAE Systems is the prime contractor for this major export order.
- General Dynamics Awarded $19 Million Reactive Armor Order General Dynamics 12 Jan 2001 -- General Dynamics Armament Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), has been awarded an $18,929,400 follow-on order from the U.S. Army for the production of 88 Reactive Armor vehicle sets for the Bradley Fighting Vehicle.
- Lockheed Martin Wins OSD IT Contract Lockheed Martin 12 Jan 2001 -- Lockheed Martin Systems Integration - Owego has been awarded a 10-year competitive procurement from the General Services Administration (GSA) for the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) to provide Information Technology (IT) Services as prime contractor, in support of the OSD's Operational Information Technology Environment at the Pentagon.
