INTRO: The new president of Yugoslavia has urged police and city cleaners to go to work and keep order following his country's successful "velvet revolution." But, as Stephan Bos reports from Belgrade, not everyone agrees with the way Mr. Kostunica's supporters behaved in recent days.

TEXT: /// ACT ONE: SOUND OF STREET CLEANERS AT WORK. ESTABLISH AND FADE UNDER... ///

While politicians are doing the talking, city cleaners are trying to take away the debris of revolution. They seem to face an uphill battle at the skeleton of what was still a few days ago the building of Serbia's state-run television. Broken glass litters the landscape in and around the burned-out complex that was attacked Thursday by an angry mob.

Thirty-five-year-old Vesna Nemet smiles when she see the damage. A black market worker and struggling to support her two-year-old son, Miss Nemet says Serbian television used to air propaganda and hatred from the same building which is now destroyed.

/// NEMET ACT ///

This building produced many victims. War in former Yugoslavia, terrorism from Slobodan Milosovic.

/// END ACT ///

She says the attack was part of the revolution. But, 45-year-old Zoran Djikic, who began his career at Serbian television two-decades ago disagrees.

/// DJIKIC ACT ///

This building does not deserve this, because this is a building of the people. The political thing that happens with programs, it is not the thinking of all the people that work in this house.

/// END ACT ///

For now, the people of Yugoslavia should not be surprised to see the same people on television, which last week praised ousted Yugoslav strong man, Slobodan Milosovic.

President Vojislav Kostunica says he is against revenge and that Yugoslavia should look to the future, regardless of how difficult that may be. (SIGNED)
