Text: Without even knowing the whereabouts of President Slobodan Milosevic, those who had spent years abroad hoping for his downfall did not need to wait for news of his fate to celebrate what Vlada Stankovic was terming a revolution.

Born and raised in Belgrade, he won the u-s visa lottery in june but returned to Serbia to vote in the september 24th elections.

we were expecting that something would happen but I didn't know that this would happen without any resistance of the police. one of the reasons why I left that country was because of him, because I had no future there.

47-year old Serb/American Olga Popovic left Belgrade for the west eight years ago, seeking better opportunities. She's convinced the Milosevic era is now over.

The momentum is so strong I don't think there is any way he can hold on to power. I'm really excited because I have so many friends there and I said I was going to come visit once Milosevic was out of power so I better start planning my trip pretty soon.

there's still no firm word on President Milosevic's whereabouts but these Serb/Americans are convinced his 13 year rule is over, ironically because of events stemming from an election he had called to solidify his rule. (Signed)
