CACI Awarded Estimated $50 Million Subcontract to Support Army Communications-Electronics Command Logistics Readiness Center
All Phases of the Intelligence Electronic Warfare System Acquisition Cycle
Arlington, Va., March 21, 2000 -- CACI International Inc (NASDAQ: CACI) announced today that it has been awarded a five-year task order subcontract by Blackhawk Management Corporation of Houston, Texas, as part of that company's prime contract award to support the U.S. Army Communications-Electronic Command Logistics Readiness Center (CECOM LRC) in Ft Monmouth, New Jersey. The indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity prime contract, which has a total contract ceiling of $335 million and was awarded to a total of two contractors, includes a one-year base period with four option years. CACI estimates its task order revenues for this new subcontract will be more than $50 million.
Under the terms of the subcontract, CACI will provide a range of systems engineering and technical support services. Work will be performed at CECOM's Ft Monmouth location, with additional support provided at various LRC facilities, and is expected to be completed by Dec 31, 2004.
CECOM LRC provides full lifecycle production, logistics, and sustainment support, for information technologies and integrated systems to America's warfighters and their allies. The command is a nationally recognized leader in providing these technologies and services.
CACI offers CECOM LRC in-depth experience and proven continuity with intelligence electronic warfare systems, combined with proven expertise in modeling and simulation applications, software development, and systems integration. The company will support Army objectives with expertise gained through its direct experience in providing IT and logistics solutions designed to promote cost-efficient, professional, and timely warfighting effectiveness.
