V-O-A's Barry Wood reports from Davos, Switzerland, where President Wahid is attending the World Economic Forum. TEXT: President Wahid says he is asking General Wiranto to resign from the cabinet, where he serves as chief minister for politics and security. Mr. Wahid spoke to reporters Monday evening. /// WAHID ACT /// Yes, yes. I've already prepared his replacement. But I will not reveal his name yet. /// END ACT /// President Wahid says the Indonesian judiciary will consider whether General Wiranto should be put on trial. The investigation is seen as a test of the new government's ability to curb the power of the Indonesian military.
