At least six people were killed and more than 100 injured. As Amy Bickers reports from Jakarta. Text: Jakarta is quiet after two days of rioting and clashes with police that shut down the city's central business district. The activists have been demonstrating against a security law passed by parliament Thursday, which would grant the military sweeping emergency powers during civil unrest. Late Friday, the government suspended implementation of the law. Saturday at least one-thousand students marched towards parliament and laid flowered wreaths at the police barricades. They also gathered at the university to hold a memorial service for some of the dead. Security forces continue to monitor central Jakarta where the streets are littered with gas canisters, plastic bullets and burnt-out cars.
