CACI Awarded $4.7 Million Contract to Support Air Force Signal Processing

Arlington, Va., July 14, 1999 -- CACI International Inc (NASDAQ: CACI) today announced that it has been awarded a $4.7 million prime contract by the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), Rome Research Site in Rome, New York to improve the signal processing capabilities of Air Force intelligence systems. CACI has already begun work on the three-year, cost plus fixed-fee contract at AFRL and CACI locations in Rome, New York and Dayton, Ohio.

The objective of the AFRL contract is to investigate, develop, test, and integrate cutting-edge technologies, including case-based reasoning (CBR) applications, into Air Force intelligence systems to improve real time signal processing. CACI offers the Air Force proven information technology and research expertise, with special emphasis on signal intelligence, telecommunications, and systems integration. The company will focus primarily on state-of-the-art CBR and well-proven artificial intelligence technologies to develop automated and semi-automated software systems that support signal analysis.
