CACI Awarded Technology Task Order Engineering Services II Contract

Company Estimates More Than $64 Million in Revenue

Arlington, Va., June 16, 1999 -- CACI International Inc (NASDAQ: CACI) today announced that it has been awarded an engineering services contract by the Air Force’s Air Logistics Center at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The Technology Task Order Engineering Services II (TTOES II) contract provides for a full range of engineering and logistics support for the Department of Defense (DoD) and federal agencies. The indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract, which has a total contract ceiling of $450 million and was awarded to a total of seven contractors, includes a one-year base period with four option years. CACI estimates that its task order revenues for this contract will be more than $64 million.

TTOES II is a follow-on to the TTOES I contract, for which CACI also was a services supplier. This recompete award provides essentially the same services as TTOES I but increases the program award ceiling from $120 to $450 million, and expands the client base from the Air Force to all DoD agencies, as well as civilian agencies such as the Federal Aviation Administration and the Department of Energy. Under the terms of the contract, clients may order engineering and logistics services in support of avionics systems, aerospace flight systems, operational shop support equipment and associated processes, and depot-level maintenance of weapon systems and aircraft.

CACI’s selection for TTOES II confirms the company’s record of performance on TTOES I. Under that contract, CACI had anticipated task orders of approximately $24 million dollars — but was actually awarded over $47 million as it completed more than 50 task orders during the life of the contract — all on time and within budget. Tasks included using reverse-engineering and virtual prototyping to provide parts for aging aircraft, saving the Air Force millions of dollars. CACI’s extensive logistics, engineering, information technology, modeling and simulation capabilities, and expertise in other relevant DoD weapon systems and projects were also factors in the company’s selection.

According to Dr. J.P. (Jack) London, CACI Chairman and CEO, "In continuing our partnership with the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center (ALC), CACI will make solutions available under TTOES II that will help DoD and federal agencies maintain their current systems, improve their business processes, and provide proactive logistics support. CACI’s successful recompete of TTOES II confirms our track record of innovation in logistics engineering and enables us to extend our outstanding TTOES I performance to even more clients." London added that "CACI’s ability to infuse legacy strengths with modern technology is clearly enhancing our business and revenue base in this sector. We are very pleased to continue our work and services out of the Oklahoma City ALC."
