Kimball Bottoms, ND

Kimball Bottoms is one of two river crossings used to cross the Missouri River. It is about a 20 minute drive from downtown Bismarck, ND. The Kimball Bottoms Local Area Boating Access Point, also known as the Desert, is on the Bismarck side of the Missouri River. The nearest town is Bismarck. The Army Corps of Engineers owns the 100-acres that the Motocross Track is built on. It incorporates a 5 mile Enduro Trail. The area is heavily wooded and a designated OHV spot. The Burleigh County Park system is made up primarily of the Steckel (Wilton) Burnt Boat, Kimball Bottoms (Desert) and McLean Bottom (Rifle Range) Boat Ramp Areas, as well as the Driscoll Sibley and Mitchell Lake (Wing) Parks.
