355th Training Squadron [355th TRS]
The 355th Training Squadron is the 355th Operations Group and the 355th Wing's newest squadron. Approximately 60 members officially took charge of all formal academic training July 31, 1996.
The four flights of the 355th TRS provide training for more than 400 students each year in the operations, tactics, and procedures of the A/OA-10, EC-130H Compass Call, and EC-130E Airborne Battlefield Command and Control Center (ABCCC) aircraft.
The squadron also is responsible for managing the only $60 million Compass Call mission simulator in the Air Force.
