336th Training Squadron [336th TRS]

The 336th Training Squadron provides communications and information technical training to all four major branches of the armed forces, as well as DOD civilians, Air Force Reserve, Air National Guard, and international military personnel.

The squadron currently has two academic flights - a military training flight, and a training support flight. The Red Wolves provide 13 resident Air Force Speciality Code-awarding courses, as well as seven Career Development Courses.

Courses range in length from 22 to 72 training days. The 336th Red Wolves train more than 6,000 students annually. The Communications-Computer Systems (C-CS) Flight, in Thomson and Stennis Halls, instructs students in C-CS Operations, C-CS Programming, C-CS Control, and C-CS Planning and Implementation.

The Communications and Information Flight, in Thomson Hall and the Vosler Building, instructs students in Interservice Radio Frequency Management, Radio Communications, and Information Management.

The Military Training Flight furthers the professional development of airmen fresh from basic military training. Emphasis is on standards of conduct and appearance, military drill and ceremonies, and regularly scheduled work details.
