315th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron [315th AES]

The mission of the 315th AES is to deploy inter-theater AE crews trained and equipped to provide in-flight medical care aboard mission directed aircraft used to airlift patients.

The unit is able to operate on other inter-theater aircraft, specifically with the C-17 when available and appropriate.

The 315th AES is also tasked with deploying Aeromedical Evacuation Operations Team (AEOT) personnel to provide operational and mission management support at aerial ports supporting AE operations.
