The Ma'adi House, centrally located in Ma'adi, includes a party house, bar, heated swimming pool, 2 clay tennis courts, children's playground, and snack bar. It has a special program for teenagers throughout the year and is available for private parties and other special functions. The European Commissary System (Troop Support Agency) operates a small, modern commissary in Ma'adi. It is brand new and resembles a Stateside commissary and is roughly twice the size of an AAFES shopette. As you may expect, the variety is somewhat limited, but it will support all of your needs and most of your desires. It is restocked weekly via a C-141 that originates in Dover, Delaware with produce and is filled in Ramstein, Germany with dairy products and other staples. Alternate weeks have a heavy load of frozen items.
