Common Aviation Command and Control System (CAC2S)

Primary Purpose CAC2S will encompass the Marine Air Command and

Control System (MACCS) missions and functions,

replacing the current Command and Control (C2)

suites of equipment and providing a consolidated,

interoperable system that supports the Marine

Corps core warfighting competencies of
Operational Maneuver From the Sea (OMFTS),

Ship to Objective Maneuver (STOM), Sustained

Operations Ashore (SOA), and Other Expeditionary

Operations (OEO). The system will provide

aviation planning, control, and execution

functions in an environment designed to enhance
