An Israeli soldier detained on suspicion of espionage for Iran

Tehran, IRNA -- Israeli authorities have reported the arrest of one of their military personnel on charges of collaborating with the Iranian intelligence apparatus.
According to a joint statement by the Israeli regime's police and internal security service (Shin Bet), the detainee is accused of conducting operations for the Iranian intelligence apparatus during his military tenure, as reported by the Palestinian Sama news agency on Sunday.
The detained soldier allegedly performed multiple tasks at the direction of Iranian intelligence operatives while in the Israeli military.
The arrest marks the latest in a series of claims by Israeli authorities about apprehending individuals suspected of working with Iranian intelligence services.
In recent months, Israel has repeatedly announced similar arrests of alleged collaborators with Tehran's security and intelligence services.
