TEHRAN (ISNA)- An Iranian informed foreign ministry official called the recent Bahraini government's allegations on the country 'unfounded'.

The official rejected the claims against Iran, and said, 'Bahraini officials should focus on civil demands of the nations instead of projection onto others and raising baseless allegations.

'They need to keep away security, police and sectarian tactics, and pave the way for serious talks through taking trust-building steps.'

A Bahraini court has recently sentenced 12 men to life in prison, claiming that they were spying and receiving military training from Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
