IRGC official: Iranian-made drones more sophisticated than US Scan Eagle

Tehran, Dec 18, IRNA -- IRGC Deputy Commander Brigadier General Hossein Salami said on Tuesday that Iranian-made drones are much more sophisticated than US Scan Eagle dron which was recently captured by Iranian forces over the Persian Gulf waters.
Speaking to reporters, he said the new generation of radar evading drones are more precise and can fly longer distances.
The Islamic Republic of Iran is now regarded as among leading countries manufacturing advanced drones.
The country has gained access to advanced radar system that can divert enemies' drones from their main courses, he said.
