L-3 Achieves U.K. Integrated Broadcast Service Program Milestone for On-Budget Performance, Ahead of Schedule

NEW YORK, Jun 16, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL) announced today that it has achieved a significant performance milestone in support of a high-priority United Kingdom intelligence project. The company's STRATIS business, which is part of L-3's Services Group, in its role as the prime contractor for the Integrated Broadcast Service (IBS) program, has been recognized for achieving the project's in-service date within budget and ahead of schedule.

"L-3 is a market leader in providing mission-critical intelligence solutions that enable situational awareness and provide actionable intelligence, and we are proud to have achieved this milestone," said Les Rose, president of STRATIS.
