
ELTA Systems Group Announces a New Satellite Cellular Interception System

Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI)'s ELTA Systems Group and Subsidiary announced the EL/K-7099, a new lightweight Satellite Cellular Interception System optimized for tactical off-the-air COMINT operations. The system is designed to intercept and monitor L- Band communication traffic (voice and data) for satellite-based global mobile phone services.
The EL/K-7099 employs on-board deciphering capabilities and can simultaneously monitor multiple duplex calls. The system can log and record multiple targets.
ELTA is also offering the EL/K-70770 GSM Cell-phone off-the-air Interception and Monitoring System. These new products are an addition to Elta’s line of COMINT solutions.
