Pakistan-Crash
A Pakistani Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) crashed in the southern Pakistani Sindh province early Wednesday, but there was no casualty or property damage on ground, a military spokesman said.
The drone fell down near the city of Nawabshah, some 260 kilometers north of Karachi, the provincial capital due to "technical fault", spokesman Col. Mohammad Idrees said.
The UAVs are remotely piloted or self-piloted aircraft that can carry surveillance cameras, sensors, communications equipment or other payloads.
The drone took off from a small airport at Nawabshah around 7 a.m and came down in a farmland.
Col Idrees said the drone was on a routine training mission.
He said an inquiry has been ordered to ascertain the real causes of the incident.
