Israeli Minister to visit imprisoned spy in Egypt
IRNA
Al-Khalil, Oct 12, IRNA -- An Israeli minister is to go to Cairo Sunday to visit convicted Israeli spy Azzam Azzam who is serving a 15-year prison sentence for spying for the Zionist state. The Israeli media reported that Health Minister Danny Naveh would hand Azzam a letter from Zionist Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. Azzam, who has requested the visit, is reportedly trying to press the Zionist regime to include him in the prisoner swap with Hizbullah. However, the Egyptian authorities have repeatedly refused to release Azzam. In 1996 Azzam was accused of gathering and sending information on Egypt to Israel using invisible ink on lingerie made in the Egyptian factory in which he worked. KA/NK/216 End
