RAF airstrike on Libyan regime radar

Video footage of a Libyan regime radar destroyed by an Royal Air Force Tornado GR4 aircraft.
The airstrike was conducted in the morning hours of 17 July 2011. The target of the surgical strike was the military Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) antenna located at the Tripoli airport.
In an effort to minimize damage to the surrounding area, a Brimstone precision guided munition was used in the airstrike
