The image below is a pre-strike aerial of a location called the Tarnak Farms, near Kandahar. According to the DoD, it is one of the major al Qaeda training camps funded by Osama bin Laden.

Al Qaeda reportedly used to use this facility to train terrorist and small-unit combat operations.
