The image below shows an early warning radar and aircraft-control facility near the Herat airfield, pre-strike. The airfield is visible in the upper-left-hand corner of the image. Down in the lower-right-hand corner is a residential area. A mosque is located near the center of the picture and military vehicles are stationed around that area.
