
Russian Aerospace Forces successfully launch Soyuz-2.1b carrier rocket from Plesetsk cosmodrome

On Monday, on 3 March 2025, at 01:22 (Moscow time) a Soyuz-2.1b medium-class carrier rocket with a spacecraft was successfully launched by the Russian Aerospace Forces from the Plesetsk State Cosmodrome of the Russian Defence Ministry.
The launch of the carrier missile into the calculated orbit proceeded as planned. The ground-based automated control systems of the Titov Main Test and Space Systems Control Centre began monitoring the Soyuz-2.1b medium-class carrier missile after the launch.
At the estimated time, the spacecraft was placed into the target orbit and taken into control by the ground facilities of the Russian Aerospace Forces.
A stable telemetry link has been established and endorsed with the spacecraft, its on-board systems are functioning properly.
