Tehran (ISNA) – Iran's actions in aerospace area don't violate any United Nations Security Council resolutions, such as Resolution 2231, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Bahram Qassemi said.
Speaking in his weekly press conference on Monday, Qassemi expressed his condolence over the death of a number of Iranian compatriots in Boeing 707 cargo plane crash in west of Tehran.
"The satellite that Iran is due to launch is part of a non-military project that is totally scientific," Qassemi noted, adding, "Iran won't wait for permission of any country for such measures".
Rejecting reports about detention of an Iranian Law Enforcement officer in Malaysia's airport, the spokesman said, "The officer has had no trip to Malaysia".
