Iranian-made satellite carrier to undergo final test

IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency

Tehran, Nov 11, IRNA -- Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Major General Mohammad-Ali Jafari said on Sunday that Iranian-made satellite carrier will undergo final test to put the data gathering satellite into the orbit.

Speaking on the sidelines of ceremonies to commemorate a group of martyrs including Brigadier Tehrani Moqaddam, Iranian master of missile, Jafari said the IRGC sponsored manufacturing the satellite carrier with the capacity of 100 kg solid fuel.

Commenting on the allegations made by the US and the Zionist regime on the project, he said Iran has manufactured the satellite carrier to meet its own needs and will accomplish new projects on the basis of its needs.
