Another satellite will be launched : Space official

Tehran, Feb 6, IRNA – Head of Space Organization said Iran has obtained its pre-planned objective by launching Omid Satellite into the Earth orbit and will launch other satellites of different capabilities into space within the next 2 or 3 years.
Referring to compiling the 10-year program in space science, Taqipour said designing and building satellites with certain capabilities in the next 2 years is on the agenda now.
He added that there are different projects under design or construction in various universities and space research centers.
Concerning Omid Satellite, Taqipour said there is constant connection between the Sattelite and the ground stations.
The official told IRNA that Mesbah Satellite has been ready to be launched since October 2005, but the foreign company committed to do so, did not fulfill its commitment and has had no cooperation in this concern since then.
