Japan's Moves for MD under Fire

Korean Central News Agency of DPRK via Korea News Service (KNS)

Pyongyang, November 5 (KCNA) -- The Japanese foreign minister recently asserted that Japan's missile defence network is aimed to cope with the "missile threat" from north Korea.
Rodong Sinmun Monday says this in a signed commentary.
Japan's oft-repeated hue and cry over the "missile threat" from someone and "protection" of it from the threat are nothing but a crafty artifice to cover up its ulterior intention to justify its moves for building the missile defence system (MD) in a bid to establish military supremacy in Northeast Asia, the commentary notes, and goes on:
These moves of Japan veiled with such word as "defence" are not designed to cope with the "missile threat" from someone but reveal its sinister plot to realize its wild ambition for overseas aggression through preemptive missile attacks on other countries.
These moves frantically stepped up by Japan despite the concern and warning of the international community are prompted by its strategic purpose and ambition to establish military supremacy in Northeast Asia. These moves are the root cause of a fresh arms race, a new Cold War in the region.
Japan would be well advised to abandon its wicked intention to attain its sinister purpose while talking about someone's "threat." It had better behave itself, cogitating over the fact that its moves to hold a military edge in Northeast Asia would only precipitate its own self-destruction.
