
General Dynamics Information Technology to Provide Chief Information Officer Support to the Missile Defense Agency
FAIRFAX, Va. – The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) recently awarded General Dynamics Information Technology, a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), a contract worth up to $48 million to support the MDA Chief Information Officer (CIO).
General Dynamics will provide comprehensive professional information technology (IT) services, resource and information management support, program and project management support. Also included are information assurance (IA) engineering and accreditation support capabilities including system security documentation, systems test and evaluation support, as well as Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) compliance reporting and Department of Defense IA certification training.

General Dynamics will continue to provide subject matter expert case management, systems documentation, test and evaluation, and IA professional development for comprehensive IA program support to the MDA.
The contract was awarded in the name of Anteon, which was acquired by General Dynamics in June 2006.
