Northrop Grumman IT will provide logistics, quality assurance, safety and IT security to prime contractor InDyne in support of NASA's Kennedy Integrated Communications Services (KICS) contract. The company expects to hire an additional 23 employees at Kennedy Space Center to support this five-year subcontract.

This subcontract further underscores Northrop Grumman IT's 20-year history of working with NASA. The KICS contract supports three key programs: the International Space Station program; Payload Carriers and Launch Services Program Office Payloads; and the Space Shuttle program.

"Northrop Grumman IT has already successfully teamed with InDyne on other contracts, including the Joint-Base Operations Support Contract at Kennedy Space Center, which gives us significant expertise to support the KICS contract," said Gregg Donley, president, Technical Services, Northrop Grumman IT. Northrop Grumman IT's share of the contract value over the five-year term is estimated at $7.5 million.
