ATK Expresses Sorrow Over Space Shuttle Columbia Tragedy

MINNEAPOLIS, Feb. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ATK (NYSE:ATK) (Alliant Techsystems), issued the following statement in response to the Space Shuttle Columbia tragedy.

As a long and proud member of the Space Shuttle team, ATK employees extend deepest sympathy to the astronauts' families and the NASA community -- we mourn the loss of the brave crew of Columbia on STS Mission 107.

ATK Thiokol Propulsion is supporting fully NASA's contingency plan and will respond as requested with all the resources we have to offer to the mishap investigation ordered by the NASA administrator, Sean O'Keefe.
