
Boeing Delta II Launch of Iridium Satellites Scrubbed
SEAL BEACH, Feb. 08, 2002 -- Boeing [NYSE:BA] officials scrubbed today's launch of a Boeing Delta II rocket because of high surface winds at the launch pad.
A second launch attempt will be made tomorrow, Saturday, February 9, 2002. The launch from Vandenberg Air Force Base's Space Launch Complex 2 is scheduled for 9:54 a.m. PST.
A Boeing Delta II is scheduled to deploy five communications satellites for Iridium Satellite LLC.
