
Lockheed Martin Names Comprehensive Space Sector Review Panel
BETHESDA, MD, May 10th, 1999 -- Lockheed Martin has named Thomas Moorman as vice chairman and nine additional independent experts as members of the Space & Strategic Missiles Sector comprehensive review panel announced May 4. As announced last week, the panel will be chaired by A. Thomas Young, former president and chief operating officer of Martin Marietta Corp. It will conduct a comprehensive review of program management, engineering and manufacturing processes, and quality control procedures at Astronautics, Missiles & Space and Michoud Space Systems. The panel will report its findings to the Corporation's senior management not later than September 1, 1999.
