
West Indian Space, Ltd. Announce Finalizing a Satellite Operating Partner Agreement with the Government of Israel

WEST INDIAN SPACE, LTD. ("WIS") announced today that it has finalized a Satellite Operating Partner (SOPה) agreement with the Government of Israel to provide high resolution imaging services for a period of eight years, commencing by year end 1999 with the deployment of the Company's first satellite.
WIS, a Cayman Islands company, is a joint venture between Israel Aircraft Industries, Ltd., MBT Division, ELOP Electro Optics Industries, Ltd., two Israeli companies, and Core Software Technology, a US company. WIS plans to launch a constellation of eight Earth Remote Observation Satellites (EROS) between 1999 and 2003. The EROS satellites will be launched at low altitudes (480-600 Kms) and will provide global real time high resolution imaging services on a commercial basis.
