Headquarters 14th Air Force - A-6, Communications and Computers
The Chief of Communications:
- Is responsible for oversight of control, operations, protection, and sustainment of SPACEAF C4 systems;
- Provides situational awareness of communications systems;
- Advocates for sustainment of space ground systems;
- Provides situational awareness for Information Operations (IO) with emphasis on Information Assurance (IA) and Computer Network Defense (CND);
- Supports exercise planning; and
- Provides communications expertise for special technical operations programs.
