30th Operations Support Squadron [30th OSS]
The 30th Operations Support Squadron's (30 OSS) people provide comprehensive spacelift operations support to fulfill warfighting, civic, and national requirements.
The people also establish wing training programs and policy for four operational squadrons. They manage all air field and air traffic services for launch support requirements. They provide the 30th Space Wing Battlestaff with current intelligence summaries and local threat conditions during contingency operations.
30 OSS personnel also design and fabricate space and missile training aids and modeling items for Air Force Space Command (AFSPC). They lead base-wide assets in support of Guardian Challenge, AFSPC's premier space and missile annual competition, and Guardian Tiger and Sword force improvement exercises.
The people are responsible for the stewardship and touring of the Nation's historical missile and space cold war assets.
